Double Jig
This double jig is one of nearly 200 tunes transcribed by several Irish music collectors in the 1830s and '40s from Co. Galway uilleann piper Patrick Coneelly. Note that the first part is in D mixolydian, making the C natural; the second part shifts to D major, and the C is played as C#. It is not uncommon to hear the tune played with both parts in one mode or the other.
